This is a new position as the company does not presently have a tax department. Qualified candidate should have a strong understanding of Federal & Multi-State returns. Some International tax would be helpful. The ideal candidate will have Public Accounting background (Big 4 experience preferred), coupled with Private industry exposure. 8-10 years of total experience.
The position will report to the CFO who was Vice President-Controller for the company from May 1997 to September 1998, and became the company's Chief Financial Officer in September 1998. He had 10 years prior experience with an air cargo company as Controller and started his career with Deloitte. He is a C.P.A.
