QUALIFICATIONS:
« Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance
« Valid California CPA license
« 7-9 years experience in public accounting
« Excellent client service skills
« Knowledge of corporate, partnership and individual taxation
« Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to have discussions with clients
« Experience in managing multiple client engagements
« Excel, Word, QuickBooks, BNA Tax Planner, ProSystem Fx, Creative Solutions, & MAS90 proficient
« Stability in job history a huge plus
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Tax
« Review of federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, high net worth individuals, estates and trusts
« Perform tax research
« Resolve issues on tax returns or make recommendations for tax planning
« Prepare tax projections for individuals, trusts & corporations
« Keep up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Accounting & Consulting
« Review client prepared Financial Statements
« Review business management client general ledgers maintained by the firm and prepare adjusting journal entries
« Assist with business valuations
« Assist with review of financial forecasting
« Supervise and coordinate projects with staff
« Develop and sustain excellent client relationships
