Position Title: Staff Tax Torrance
Position Skills: Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/business administration/international business with a minimum 2 years related work experience required. Previous expatriate tax experience a plus. Big 4 preferred. Prior experience in a large multinational company also a plus. The candidate must possess general accounting skills, be organized, detail oriented, motivated and have a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team environment.
Position Description: The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration of the company's tax equalization policy (including but not limited to the following tasks): Responsible for maintaining the authorization list for individual tax prep assistance with 3rd party accounting firm; coordination with our client's US and foreign payrolls; review tax equalization settlements prepared by 3rd party accounting firm; review hypothetical tax calculations on bonus payments/stock option exercises; process individual tax payments and properly record in the employee's wage statement; assist payroll and accounting with the charging of expat related costs; and administration of miscellaneous expatriate tax. In addition, the candidate will provide support on various international tax special projects.
